Learn Who We Are
MAZENA Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 to address the needs of orphans and poor children in Africa. As the founding directors looked across the continent, the devastating impact of armed conflicts and various diseases on children became a chilling reality to confront. Too many innocent children become orphans, their homes destroyed by wars, and their education opportunities snatched from them.
One approach to MAZENA’s response to the critical quality of life needs of orphans and other poor children is the engagement of other children and young people with opportunities in the mobilization of resources and responding to those health and education needs.
MAZENA Foundation was officially founded, registered, and approved as a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization by the U.S. government in January 3, 2023. Therefore, all donations to it are tax-deductible.

Our Vision
Building stable support systems for vulnerable children and families is at the heart of the vision of MAZENA Foundation. Its long-term direction focuses on preventing orphanhood by supporting family stability for children, and promoting education, health, and better living conditions for orphans.
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the well-being of orphans and poor children through impactful action and education. We mobilize resources and respond to their needs by sponsoring projects that improve the quality of life in orphanages, providing scholarships and shelter for children at the margins of society, and assisting with serious healthcare needs that are necessary to keep parents alive in order to avoid orphanhood for children.
